Island stay: Beach Tonic Nusa Lembongan

Three weeks ago we were off for a salty weekend escape to Nusa Lembongan. We arranged our stay through The Lembongan Traveler at Beach Tonic, located on the hill of most popular beach Jungut Batu. It ended up being the most magical weekend ever, as Arnaud asked Pris to marry her! It will forever be our special place! Yes, photos below, happiness level at its highest.

Beach Tonic

Ok, back to our stay. After arriving by boat (just a short 30 minutes boat ride from Bali), the lovely Staff of Beach Tonic, Lonjong & Erna awaited us. We were brought to the villa, just up the hill of Jungut Batu beach. During settling in, they cooked us breakfast, helped us renting a motorbike and booked us a little boat to go snorkeling. They are the sweetest!

Beach Tonic has the most amazing view. You can see all the surf breaks from Playgrounds to Shipwrecks, our favorite right hander at the island. You can see Mount Agung just from the balcony. The villa breaths island life and has 4 spacious bedrooms. The upper level of the villa has a terrace lounge with 180 degrees views over the dreamy turquoise waters of Nusa Lembongan. On the lower level there's a gorgeous open kitchen and pool. Every afternoon we had a coconut here under the tropical cabana, listening to the birds singing and watching the the waves roll in. We usually also ended our day here watching the most magical sunsets. Pure bliss.

The beach is just a short walk down and there you'll find restaurants and favorite spot The Deck. Every day we walked out of our villa in bikini to surf Shipwrecks for hours. You can just paddle out from the beach to the peak. We ended each surf session with acai bowls from Barong Shakti Berry. The best!

You can also cruise around the island by motorbike like we always do. We just love it. This time we stopped at our favorite lunch spot Ginger and Jamu and had dinner on the beach at Indiana Kenanga. Lots of places are currently still closed or only open in the weekend, as normally the island is flooded with thousands of tourists arriving every day, and now it's so quiet. We hope for the island tourism can kick-off soon, so the people can get back to their day to day business.

She said YES!

We also cruised a little bit to Nusa Ceningan look for pretty places to shoot our new Ocean Collection for Welikebali the label. In the afternoon we arrived on our favorite little secret beach nearby Mushroom Bay. And yesss, and that's the spot where Arnaud asked Pris to marry her!
