7 x New eats in Canggu

We're back in Bali! And we couldn't be happier. Although we love our Summers back home in Europe, the thing we miss most is all the good Bali food. When we get back on the island the first thing we do is try the newest cafes and restaurants in search of new food faves.

So this Wednesday we're releasing our newest Bali Island Guide Edition no.4 in print. Just in time for the Holidays, to put on your list as Christmas pressie! (Already available as eGuide and as a Dutch book in our shop now for all of you who're traveling to Bali soon.)

And here's already 7 x new restaurants in Canggu we love for you to check out when traveling to Bali!

1. Ninety One
Open since spring this newest hotspot in the heart of Canggu has become our favorite restaurant since day one. Whether it's a quick coffee on the terrace outside, brekkie date by the pool inside, brunch in the incredibly well-designed living area or dinner with friends.. the vibe and food (modern Mediterranean inspired) is so good we are hooked.

3. Marigold

Named by the iconic orange Balinese flower, this family-friendly spot with a playground for the little ones overlooking the rice paddies is not only the cutest but also has amazing (healthy) food.

4. Honey Kitchen

In the lush green sceneries of Pererenan (the quiet area just outside the buzzing center of Canggu), you'll find Honey Kitchen. Open all day, this cute minimal styled cafe serves healthy food and lots of vegetarian and vegan options with a Mediterranean twist (hummus for the win).

5. The Lawn Canggu

You must be thinking, hey that's not a new spot? You're right! You know The Lawn Canggu is our all-time favorite beach hangout with restaurant. But worth a mention in this list, cause they just launched their new weekend breakfast feast concept. Every Saturday and Sunday from 8am - 12pm you can indulge in a variety of delicious brekkie dishes. All you can eat, so obv food coma'ing by the pool after.

6. Remix Pererenan

Our favorite little health food cafe in Umalas for years, recently opened up a second venue in Perenan, close to the beach. It's our daily swing-by for cold-pressed juices and fresh-squeezed almond milk (for our almond milk cappu's at home!). They also do juice delivery by the way, good to know!

7. Black Sand Brewery

Beer lovers, this one's for you. With local brews on the tap and lots of good vibes, this bar is a hip and happening hotspot at the moment. Enjoy a good pint and food in the backyard or rooftop terrace with ricefield views.
